I might be sick. I cannot believe the school had uniformed policemen in the center isle watching the students at graduation. Great picture opportunities. "oh and hear is Janey at graduation from the school for the criminally insane" What the hell kind of photo memories are they? I am so sick of this school its rediculous!
And I'm only a parent, I cant imagine what our kids feel like.
Maybe you better talk to the President Bob Goldsack and Diane French. Not sure if it's true, but seems they insisted on uping the security as they didn't like last year's toy toss during the speeches - beach balls, blow up dolls, condoms and horns going off. Supposedly they approved the plans without consulting anyone else. Another secret meeting? Heard from other school board members they were shocked themselves to see the uniform police line up and were not informed of the plans. One member commented how absurd it was to have the chairs facing the students and that they could have simply stood on the sides.
The whole thing looked stupid. Who were they trying to impress anyway, parents and grandparents who were forced to witness the childish police line? Maybe next year they'll have some nifty rifles to hold if the stimulus funds come through. Weird group up there in that HS with some some major issues I'm told.
It's time for a new administration who relates to modern society and today's kids.
On another note the audience could not hear the speakers unless they were sitting in the middle section. Why no music or orchestra? Why none of the usual scholarship awards this year? None of the kids well behaved enough?
Heard the worst behaved kids this year were some popular sport players and they still got to play in all games after they damaged property and got caught drinking many times. Why didn't Joe casmus send out the coppers and letters about them? I say get rid of double standards and replace administrators with new ones who will not conceal the facts by using kids whose only crime is throwing around beach balls.
Principals should know when its time to move on a make way for others who have a better grip on kids and their needs. School leaders who respect kids will get respectful kids in return. Kids are sick of censorship and having their voices shut up. Some of these kids are will be serving for freedom that casmus and principals deny in our school. If only more parents knew the truth.
