State says payment from Krise to DV was result of alleged misuse of district fuel

Director Jeffery H. Gribb of the Pennsylvania Office of Special Investigations Office said in a letter that his office found that the alleged misuse of district fuel explains why Krise Bus paid the Delaware Valley School District nearly $10 thousand in April.

"Be advised that we disagree with your contention that the payment of $9,974.75 from Krise Brus Service, Inc. to Delaware Valley School District 'had nothing to do with Krise's charter service and the alleged use of district fuel for non-district purposes,'" Gribb wrote in the letter that was distributed to board members at the June 18 meeting.

"While we acknowledged that the facts were in dispute and that there were evidentiary problems inherent in the matter, we nevertheless found that the alleged use of the District fuel for non-District purposes had a great deal to do with the joint audit that was performed by the District and Krise, both in explaining why it was performed and the results thereof."

Bill Greenlaw, current candidate for school board, said the letter was not brought up during the transportation committee report at Thursday's meeting.

"Interestingly, again, at last night's meeting, when it came to the Transportation Committee, there was nothing to report," Greenlaw said.

So what was it that Goldsack said or more revealing didn't say about this subject? How many times did he and his sidekicks try to convince the listeners that all was perfect? The Superintendent and business manager exonerated Krise and showed distaste for anyone who questioned the proceedings. Ed Silverstone read the riot act to Fran Rosario and Linda Boyle at the Shohola board meeting because they didn't have sufficient evidence. Remember his contemptuous display of disgust for the brave women who put their jobs on the line to disclose the truth.

Well, the information was good enough for the auditor general's special investigators, but not for DV leadership who wink and smile at Goldsack, French, and Kupillas during meetings in not so sutle attempts to discredit anyone who questions the motives.

Big budget tax increases, secret meetings, dislike of truth seekers like Ryan and Nick all makes the lowly taxpayer wonder what's going on. Bob called Linda Boyle a liar about his fixing the voting machine, but the commissioners had to tell the truth in a letter as witnessess came forward who were there. Hopefully the public will see that letter too.

Need more be said other than time for a clean sweep all around.
