Primary election voter turnout in the Delaware Valley School District was the lowest this year out of the past four primary elections. The election for school board directors happens every odd-numbered year. Only 2,295 people voted in yesterday's 2009 primary election, nearly half of the 4,476 turnout for the 2007 primary election in which the Taxpayers United candidates Diane French, John Kupillas and John Wladar dominated.
These figures include total voter turnouts of the voting precincts that are a part of the DVSD, according to the Pike County Board of Elections Web site.

How disappointing to see such a record low turnout.
I don't understand how people can complain about everything that goes on at DVSD and yet not even get out to vote for who will control their school district. At any rate-things are now starting to look UP for DV!!!
