The students and coaches of DVSD OM teams have done a fantastic job. Through their dedication and hard work, several teams will be representing our school district in states. If only the school board would take this activity more seriously and provide them with a little more "support" (for lack of a better term.) These teams are loaded with children and young adults who work just as hard for their wins as any football or baseball team out there and they should all be commended.

Congratulations to all the participants of the Odyssey of the Mind. Life is a series of competitions. You have all shown great work ethics and now know the value of teamwork. Through teamwork, You have learned that the likelihood of success is greater when individuals work together toward a common goal. During the time of your preparation for competition you have all improved your multitasking skills. This is a very important skill that will help you throughout your life time. Your leadership qualities are outstanding, continue the great work. For those of you that will step up to the state and hopefully the national competition good luck! Thank you for being such great role models to our great community.

The school board and school district is very generous when it comes to the Odyssey of the Mind program at Delaware Valley. They support several teams at each of the schools. They have sent teams to both the state level and the World's level all expenses paid. I am very thankful for the support they give this program and hope it continues for a long time to come. I was thrilled to see current board member Sue Schor comment in such a positive way on the program. Good Luck to all the DV teams headed to States in April. You are champions and make your school proud!
