According to an e-mail from a DV employee:
FYI - although school is closed today, the Transportation Meeting is still on at 6:00 tonight - Wednesday - at the District Office.
There is no confirmation that the meeting will still take place on the district's Web site nor on the school closings phone hotline. At the time of posting, it also was not mentioned on any of the local news Web sites.

I don't understand why you are so incredibly biased when reporting on school board meetings and other school news and frankly, I am sick of it. I am no longer going to read your blog. I would rather get my news from a nonbiased source and will advise my friends and coworkers to do the same.
I'm not reporting. I'm blogging.
Everyone has a bias. It's impossible to be "nonbiased."
That said, I don't see what is biased about this particular post. I was passing along that the meeting was still on, and no other source - the school district itself nor local news - had any confirmation that the meeting was still happening. I think you can disagree with some of my "biases" and still find some usefulness in a post like this. And if not, you're in control of what Web sites you consume and avoid.
How is providing information on a meeting being biased? I, for one, was happy to find out through this blog that the meeting was still on and attended it. The definition of BLOG is a website on which an individual or group of users produces an ongoing narrative by adding new material on an regular basis.
Thank you for providing such up-to-date information.
I visit your blog often and plan to continue. I plan to tell my friends and coworkers to do the same!
RB, Thank you for your dedication to keeping the community informed of the DV school board meetings. You have accomplished what district administrators and board members have promised to do throughout the years but never managed to accomplish! Keep up the great work! If only more young people were like you!
